It may appear strange to you to be starting my story at the end, so you will be relieved to know that this is not the end. It is now. Of course the beginning was also now along with all the points in between. That is because this instant is the only time that actually exists. Life is one eternal now. Time is a relative framework that we superimpose on eternity to try to make sense of it. We seem to have an awareness of other moments that preceded this one and are linked to our current awareness. We call this the past. Many of us also anticipate upcoming moments, which will proceed from this one. We call this the future. This division of now seems useful, because it appears to explain many observable events. It is, however, only a reference and not real in eternity.
Now is always where you are and you will never be anywhere else. I am happy now. I am peaceful now. I am connected to everything now. I am loving now. I am complete now. I have expanded this awareness throughout all time, past, present and future. It permeates all space and time and is unchanging and eternal.
This is not a mantra, but a fact; a condition. To be present in this awareness is something I wish for every Being on this planet. It is attainable; not in a million lifetimes, but in present time. You can reach it and be there completely and forever. It has always been there, but your creations block the way and obstruct the view. I should say your miscreations, because your creations stay with you. Only your miscreations are released. They return back to the nothingness from which they were made. The creations that stay are love, gratitude, appreciation, caring and compassion. Those that are released include anger, fear, jealousy, guilt, mistrust and sadness.
Few have reached this point, because they were unwilling or unable to rid themselves of their mis-creations. They preferred to suffer with what they know than to exchange them for the unknown. Those that have managed, have illuminated and uplifted humanity. To reach that state of Beingness also brings with it the responsibility to help all other souls to get there as well. Buddha knew that and continued to teach for many years after his enlightenment. Jesus knew that and taught in both word and deed that life is eternal. There have been many other sung and unsung heroes that have sought to show others the road out of suffering. That road is not arduous; it is simple. The road is not long; it is short. Strenuous are the wrong turns and the setbacks. Lengthy are the stops along the way.
There is no conflict in life. There are no goals that need to be accomplish or expectations that beg to be fulfilled. Love unconditionally. Extend that love to the rest of your family, friends and all others that cross your path. You will still find your mind judging, comparing and calculating, but realize that those abilities are necessary to some extent when dealing with the physical world. They do not begin to define your reality. Allow your heart to be your compass. The heart knows only oneness and will always reveal that truth.
Fear will gone from your life in all its forms and subtleties. Your mind and your body will relax. Fear is a creation of the mind and does not really exist. The mind cannot differentiate between fantasy and reality and reacts the same to each. Fear is the emotion we experience when the mind creates a fantasy scenario and then reacts to it as if it were real. No longer allow your mind to miscreate in this manner. Deal with your present circumstances as they occur, with patience and love.
